DEPENDENCE ON
THE HOLY SPIRIT
Daily we maintain an intimately personal relationship with Jesus through meditating on the Word, listening for His voice and praying the Father’s will be done in and through our ministry.
We encourage others to intimately know and trust the Holy Spirit who teaches each of us to walk by faith and obedience as He instructs, teaches and counsels us in all areas of life to accomplish God’s will.
HOSPITALITY
Hospitality with the one God sends to us is the cornerstone of extending God’s love through us and building relationships. We reach out to the lost, the lonely and the hurting extending hope and building trust.
Our ministry home is open for brief stays for people needing a spiritual respite where they encounter the living God through times of prayer, worship and sharing meals. They are immersed in an intimate time of refreshing, renewal and healing. Upon leaving they are empowered and strengthened to go out filled with living water to be poured out into others.
Matt 25: 35 (NIV) For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.
Matt 25:40 (NIV) “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
DISCIPLESHIP
Teaching biblical precepts, while modeling and guiding others toward living righteously as followers of Jesus Christ. Once we are discipled, we are to disciple others, and so on. One of the most important characteristics of being a disciple is to develop an intimate relationship with God through Christ. We equip the Christian with God’s Word, prayer, worship, encouragement, and service. We teach disciples how to move from an identity established by their world culture into an identity as a child of God with all of the associated rights and authority.
The Christian walk displays a life so evidently transformed by Jesus Christ that others may see and desire to have such a life. It is enabled and empowered by believing in the infallible Word of God and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. This is a continuing process of being transformed from the inside out.
Matt 28:19 (NIV) 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
DELIVERANCE & HEALING
Expelling demons was as fundamental a part of Jesus’s ministry as preaching. Deliverance and healing is an integral part of our ministry. When people are saved and set free the transformation begins. The Holy Spirit exposes strongholds such as unforgiveness, fear, anxiety, depression, shame, guilt, anger and addictions. In the power of the name of Jesus, lives are changed, strongholds are broken and the captives are set free.
Inner healing engages the use of prayer, forgiveness, repentance, rejecting lies and replacing them with truth, and processing painful memories to bring emotional and spiritual healing.
Mark 6:7: (NIV) Calling the Twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over impure spirits.
Mark: 6-12-13: (NIV) 12 They went out and preached that people should repent. 13 They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.
To know Him and to make Him known. To love the one God sends. To extend the kingdom of God to all nations, bringing hope and setting the captives free. To raise up the next generation to be witnesses of Christ.
